These little fabric bowls are a fun project to make to decorate your home or give as gifts. From this one pattern, you can make 3 different sizes/shapes of bowls, each with variations for the shapes of the top edges. They can be made by anyone who has basic sewing skills, willing to learn new techniques. The pattern has 10 pages of instructions, including full sized patterns for the 3 sizes of bowls with up to 3 variations within each size. Satin stitch seaming and couching yarn instructions are given in detail. Full color photos show steps in the construction process to help you be successful even if you have never done satin stitch seams or couched yarn before.
My bowls are made using dense polyester fusible fleece which makes the bowls stiff enough to hold their shape, and flexible enough to flip them to show the reverse side. They are great for using up leftover fabrics from other projects you have done. Bowls can be embellished with beads, funky fibers or specialty threads to show off your creativity.

I love create beautiful art, gifts and household items with fabric, paint and thread; using flowers, gardens and my surroundings as inspiration. I have begun to write patterns so that anyone who wants, can now create some of my gift items that include Tote Bags, Notebook and Journal covers, Photo Album Covers, Fabric Bowls and more.
I also love to paint, sunprint and dye my own fabrics to use in my work. See my finished items for sale on ArtFire.com here- http://www.andrusgardens.artfire.com/
