Skill Level:

little skill level requirement Novice

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • sew a seam, hand sew, stuff a pillow, sew on a button

Pattern Description:

This is a very quick and easy pincushion to make. A simple diamond shape (template included) of any size will make a pincushion. Embellishment opportunities are endless - try different trims, buttons, beads, embroidery, different fabrics.

Additional pictures show a smaller pincushion, made from a smaller diamond shape. I glued a large button on the bottom to stabilize it, and you could also do that for the larger Chenille Pincushion.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 7" in diameter

  • scraps of chenille, 1 yd ric-rac, 1 button, small amount of stuffing

You Will Also Need:

  • sewing machine, scissors, needle, thread
