About the Designer
I do not have a fairy tale or quaint story to tell. I am just a hard working mother of 5 children and now I am raising 2 teen granddaughters. I have a great husband who even finds time after his long day to compliment me on my sewing designs.

I started sewing in the third grade. Our school custodian taught several of us girls how to sew after we had finished our class work. Can you believe we had a spare classroom set up as a sewing room?! She also helped my mother after school and continued to teach me at home.
All through my school years, I won state and local sewing & design contests. With the contest scholarships, I started college majoring in fashion design. I later switched to business and started raising a family. My daughter and granddaughters still kid me about being a fashion designer when I criticize their choice of attire. I am ancient in their eyes.
