Knitwear designer Ysolda Teague designed this adorable skirt when she visited our shop in 2011. We wrote up the pattern and now can offer it to you! This skirt if a fun and feminine design with a gathered waist and ties. It features a contrasting pocket and ties as well as a peek of lining poking out the bottom. We walk you through how to draft your own pattern, so it is guaranteed to fit any size. Enjoy!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Any - you draft the pattern to fit
Materials:
- 1 1/2 yds main fabric
- 1 fat quarter
- 1 3/4 yds lining fabric (we used voile)
- 3/4 2" elastic
You Will Also Need:
- thread
- sewing machine
- yardstick
- french curve
- marking tools
- drawstring threader
- safety pin
- pins
- scissors
