This is a digital print-at-home pattern for a late 1950's early 1960's style French sun dress. The dress features darts at the bodice, small pleats at the lower back, a gathered skirt with bias trim, and bias trim throughout the faux front closure. The dress is closed with a side zipper.
The pattern is given in a size Medium/ Large:38" Bust, 30" waist.
It also includes English instructions for how to grade the pattern to other sizes.
The pattern prints as a 9 page pattern sheet with full sized pattern pieces laid out over each other (Much like a Burda pattern sheet). Each pattern piece can then be individually traced from the master sheet. (Or, if you prefer, you can just print the pattern sheet several times and cut out the pieces).
The pattern includes instructions both in English and in French.
Difficulty level: Intermediate.
Pages are formatted for both US Letter and A4 paper.
Please note: This pattern is based off of a real 1950's pattern that is in the public domain. However, the pattern and its instructions have been adapted and translated for the 21st century seamstress creating a new and original work.

I grew up in an antique shop surrounded by lovely vintage clothing and I guess vintage just stuck. Recently I took my passion for sewing and vintage lingerie and combined them into a vintage inspired pattern line offering hard to find pattern styles in digital form.
Please Note: There are no returns on digital patterns so please read the item description carefully before purchase.
