This is step by step photo instruction e-book made with more then 40 easy to follow photos with all little steps and tips for making this gorgeous raglan sleeve jacket. The jacket pattern is made in 8 different sizes from 80 cm high child to 164 cm high (80 " 92 " 104 " 116 " 128 " 140 " 152 " 164). So you could easily make this for siblings if you like. The jacket have open hole on a side of the sleeve and if you put the buttons on both sides you could use it as a reversible jacket. Also the big round pocket on front are sewn on both sizes. From my experience this jacket you could use first with rolled up sleeves and then when the kid will be bigger also without that, so you could use it a long time, at least for two seasons. The fabric that you could use? Flees with jersey or flees with cotton, cotton with jersey, you could also recycle some old sweater and just found the contrasting fabric for the lining; just play with it and wash the fabric before you start because of the shrinkage. The project is easy enough even for the beginner sewer. PS if you want to make some other application on front or on back or on sleeve, just do it and your jacket will be even more unique. You could use the pattern for different sizes and assembly instructions will be very handy and useful. Have a nice day, and enjoy in sewing. This pattern is for personal use only. COMMERCIAL USE IS PROHIBITED. (c)Lidija Miklavcic 2012
As a kid I want to do everything by myself....and I still live like this, except, now I want to play also with others and I love to show and teach how to play with fabric, so I did start to work on sewing step by step tutorials with my own patterns.
Will you play with me? Come, the fun is starting...
