Pattern Description:

Before creating Cake Patterns, I made a tiled .pdf sewing pattern called the "Blank Canvas Tee" and published it here on Craftsy. The BCT was designed to be a simple, easily customizable knit t-shirt pattern and ran through several versions.

Over the years, I've used the BCT in knits beginners' classes to teach the basics of handling knit fabric. The Tee is the final version of this pattern, with thoughtful refinements to the sizing and method honed in the classroom.

The Tee features a round or v-neck with overlapped (mitered) binding, cute micro-pockets, and an easy-going hem band. The Tee pattern uses Cake's innovative grid-guide sizing, giving you complete control over your Tee's length and ease. Simply measure, mark, and connect the dots for a custom fit.

This is a listing for a tiled multisize pdf sewing pattern. 23 pages total- 7 pages for the print-and-assemble envelope, instructions and tiling overview; 18 pages of pattern. Universal tiling for printing on US Letter or international A4 printers, scaling gauge printed on first page of the tiled pattern. Acceptable margin of error for print gauge- 1/4" (6 mm)
