Pattern Description:
Modern and sophisticated, the Serendipity Dress has quickly become on of my very favorites. Simple design with super fun details that set it apart from the rest. The elasticized waistband and neckline give it a nice shape and keeps it all comfy. No worries about the bows on the slightly raised waistband becoming untied constantly since they are purely decorative and are not relied upon to keep the waistline together. The sleeveless design is meant to keep this pattern useful for any season...sweet and cool for the warm weather but just as cute with a long sleeve top underneath for the cooler weather. A great way to to put a yard of your favorite fabric to good use!
Includes size charts and cutting layout diagrams for a perfect fit and use of your fabrics. You can make this dress!
All LilyGiggle patterns are computer drafted and are color coded to make them easy to put together and to keep sizes accurate. Each PDF also includes a very detailed tutorial with lots of color photographs and diagrams demonstrating each step of creating the design. The tutorials are written with terminology explained so you'll know what it means to say things such as "right sides together". :) My hope is to create PDFs that will take away the frustration of using a traditional big box store pattern and put the fun back into sewing. If you do get hung up on a step using one of my PDFs I am only a CONVO away and ready to help you through it!
