Pattern Description:

The Scottie dress is an easy to make reversible dress with a cute Scottie Dog applique. This will no doubt become your little girl's favorite dress.

Your PDF tutorial includes all the patterns and instructions you need to complete the dress and appliqu. You have multiple sizes of Scottie dogs to choose from so you can mix and match and make your dress truly unique.

Don't worry if you are not confident with making buttonholes as I also give you the option of putting velcro under the shoulder tabs with a cute bow on top. I also give you 2 options for finishing the hem of the dress. You can use bias binding or I show you how to do an easy folded hem. If you would like to make your own bias binding I have included a tutorial on how to make your own without any fancy tools.

For a Summer dress you could use light to medium weight cottons in a rainbow of colors. This dress is also perfect for Winter as it could be worn over a turtleneck.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Sizes 6months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years, 6 years

Materials:

1.25 yards of fabric for the outside of the dress
1.25 yards of fabric for the lining of the dress
a small piece of felt or fabric for your Scottie Dogs
Buttons or Velcro for the shoulder fastenings
Ribbon or ric- rac for the leads of the Scottie dogs
Bias tape for the bottom of the dress (optional)
