Pattern Description:

The Riverwalk Skirt & Faux Wrap Skirt is comfortable and stylish, and it fits women from size 2 to size 20. This skirt can be sewn as a traditional A-line or with the faux wrap-around front that allows a little peek at the fabric underneath. The fold-over yoga-style waistband allows the skirt to be worn high on the waist for a mid-calf length or low on the hips as a maxi-skirt.

The Riverwalk Skirt is part of the Jersey Love series by Fishsticks Designs. These patterns are designed specifically for stretch cotton/spandex or cotton/lycra jerseys. (Some Jersey Love patterns can also be used with other knits, so be sure to check the fabric recommendations.) Many of the edges are left raw to take advantage of the way that jerseys curl up after washing and drying.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Misses sizes 2 to 20

  • Fabrics & Notions: Cotton or cotton blend jerseys are recommended for the best results. (Cotton or cotton blend interlocks will work for the skirt, but they will not curl on the edges.) Cotton/spandex or cotton/lycra jersey or rib knit for waistband (Cotton knits without spandex or lycra will not have the recovery to work properly in the waistband.)
  • Yardage (based on 60" wide knit fabrics): For front and back of skirt in a single fabric: 2 yards. For front and back of skirt in two fabrics: 1 yard of each fabric. For faux wrap front: 1 yard. For waistband: 1/2 yard.
