Pattern Description:
Vintage style with modern appeal, the Lula Maxi Dress is sure to become a favorite. A bit reminiscent of a fairy princess with it's wing-like neck ruffle and it's long flowy skirt...at least, that's my 5 year old's opinion. :) Mom will like the simple design and wearability...don't fear the long length...it has been extensively "run and play" tested. This may not be the perfect outfit for the monkey bars but there is plenty of room in the skirt to chase bubbles or a puppy dog. This is a great pattern to show off a pretty mix of your favorite woven fabrics. You will be surprised at how easily this dress goes together...no hand gathering even with all that ruffle goodness!
Includes size charts and cutting layout diagrams for a perfect fit and use of your fabrics. You can make this dress!
All LilyGiggle patterns are computer drafted and are color coded to make them easy to put together and to keep sizes accurate. Each PDF also includes a very detailed tutorial with lots of color photographs and diagrams demonstrating each step of creating the design. The tutorials are written with terminology explained so you'll know what it means to say things such as "right sides together". :) My hope is to create PDFs that will take away the frustration of using a traditional big box store pattern and put the fun back into sewing.
