Swingy baby pinafore dress pattern with open back for showing off those adorable diaper covers, short or pants (only the dress pattern is included, see my other patterns for coordinates). The ruffle-edged back closes with a single tie.
You can use purchased bias tape, or let me show you how to create your own bias bindings for the straps, armholes and ties.
Sewing level: I'm calling this one "persistent beginner" to advanced beginner. The techniques are not difficult but that long beautiful ruffle takes some time and patience to gather.
Tie Dye Diva patterns always include full-sized printable patterns that are computer drafted and color coded. DIY is great, but I don't make you draft your own patterns! Take a look at the sample pages (from a different Tie Dye Diva pattern) for an example of what is included.
