Say hello to Rissa Roo's Pixie Summer Tank Top. After releasing the Rissa Roo's Pixie Summer Halter Top, we had numerous requests to make her into a Tank Top. You spoke, we listened and here she is. The Rissa Roo Pixie Summer Tank is a unique style that my daughter requested for me to design. When laid down, it resembles a butterfly. The tank top is made out of Cotton Lycra knit (you can use any lightweight knits with good stretch recovery) and is designed to be semi form fitting. With unique curves in the front and back. This tank top provides a unique design for every little girl. It is a cute addition to your summer wardrobe. With her single layered ruffled hem it adds a bit of personality with a unique flair. Give her even more of a unique look by up-cycling one of your daughters favorite shirts and give this tank top a whole new look. It truly is an awesome pattern with a unique touch. This top is a quick sew and a great project for a beginner with knits. From printing the pattern, cutting the fabrics and sewing it in less than two hours based on your level of experience. All designed by the inspiration of my own daughter and her vision of a shirt that
flutters like a butterfly. Serger required for this pattern, however, it can be accomplished with a sewing machine. My instructions are based off of using a serger and using knit binding/bias tape. 1/4" Seam allowance is figured into the pattern. Have fun and create your own unique look and style. I really hope you enjoy this pattern and it's simplicity. I know you are a super star and can create one of these just as awesome as I did.

Hi, I am Pam. Mom to 4 boys and 1 girl. I was blessed with a special angel and through him he has taught me many things about life. I ventured off in sewing to make cloth diapers for him and the younger two to help save money. Never realized how much I would love sewing till then. As our daughter got older I began making clothes for her and designing items that were different. Many of my friends loved my ideas and asked for me to share them. I would share most of my simple ideas with them and they loved them. When I designed a skirt for a special child with special needs everyone begged for that pattern. So, here I am sharing my ideas and designs with you now. I hope you find the things I create simple, yet cute and easy to assemble. I enjoy being different and creating unique designs. Most of all, I enjoy seeing children smile from my creations. Thanks for allowing me to share my ideas. You can also find me on thePluckyButterflyDesigns.comView all patterns by designer (8) »
