You will have as much fun making this skirt as your favorite little girl will have wearing it! A great way to breathe some new life into some no-longer-needed t-shirts or to make from your favorite stretch knit fabric. The Rings-of-Ruffles skirt has a classic A-line skirt silhouette with a modern flair. Sure to get some attention wherever it is worn.
If you prefer to make your skirt from your favorite fabric off of the bolt, directions, yardage and cutting layout diagrams are included in this PDF as well as a size chart.
Each pattern is computer drafted and color coded to make it easy to put together and to keep sizes accurate. Each PDF also includes a very detailed tutorial with lots of color photographs and diagrams demonstrating each step of creating the design. The tutorials are written with terminology explained so you'll know what it means to say things such as "right sides together". :) My hope is to create PDFs that will take away the frustration of using a traditional big box store pattern and put the fun back into sewing.

I've been crafting for as long as I can remember. As a teen I began teaching myself to sew and started making some of my own clothes. Later went on to major in Fashion Design and to basically unlearn all that I taught myself. :) However, all my earlier experimentation gave me a freedom in my sewing to do things a little "out of the box" and not be afraid to have fun with sewing even if it occasionally breaks some rules.
As a mama to 4, I am most inspired by my children. You can find my line of children's clothing patterns at www.lilygiggle.com, Etsy and in various online retailers. I'm always working on new ideas swirling around in my brain and hope to have many more projects posted soon!
