Want a fun new way to put those no longer needed t-shirts to good use? How about whipping up some super fun ruffly and kicky pants out of them? The Rings-of-Ruffles design has a slender/slim "yoga" pant fit with a gentle flair at the hem. This pattern has been recently taken "up a notch" and now includes pattern and tutorial for 2 different lengths. Go ruffle C R A Z Y or play it sweet and subtle...either way, this pattern has got you covered.
Each sewing pattern is computer drafted and are all color coded to make them easy to put together and to keep sizes accurate. Each PDF also includes a very detailed tutorial with color photographs and diagrams demonstrating each step of creating the design. This PDF now includes a cutting layout diagram just in case you prefer your fabric off of the bolt instead of from the thrift store (or the bags and boxes on their way to the thrift store) and a size chart. The tutorials are written with terminology explained so you will know what it means to say things such as "right sides together". :) My hope is to create PDFs that will take away the frustration of using a traditional big box store pattern and put the fun back into sewing.

I've been crafting for as long as I can remember. As a teen I began teaching myself to sew and started making some of my own clothes. Later went on to major in Fashion Design and to basically unlearn all that I taught myself. :) However, all my earlier experimentation gave me a freedom in my sewing to do things a little "out of the box" and not be afraid to have fun with sewing even if it occasionally breaks some rules.
As a mama to 4, I am most inspired by my children. You can find my line of children's clothing patterns at www.lilygiggle.com, Etsy and in various online retailers. I'm always working on new ideas swirling around in my brain and hope to have many more projects posted soon!
