I can't be accused of being lazy when it comes to sewing for my kids. After all, they each have their own special
fourth of July patchwork quilt. I am not a big fan of Halloween though, so they have had to get creative when it
comes to costumes. This is a quick costume cape with pointed hood that you can make with one yard of fabric.
For the full Hoodwinked effect, make a blue mini skirt out of an old adult sized blue tee shirt (just cutt off the bottom of the shirt and add elastic to the cut edge.)
Trim some bell bottomed jeans with 3" wide lace.
And a plain tee shirt completes the look.
Easiest and cutest costume ever!
