~ The Olivia A-Line Ruffle Skirt features three gathered ruffles with a-line skirt panels underneath.
~ The a-line flares out from the waist, giving the skirt a nice shape, and ends at the top of the knee.
~ This skirt is so versatile - change the look by changing the fabric. Get a boutique look by using coordinating cotton prints (great for using up leftovers from other projects)! Go for a fun, casual look by using denim. Or, use silk dupioni to make a skirt that would be beautiful for summer weddings.
~ With a range of sizes from 3-6 months to 10 years, you will get years of use out of the pattern!
~ This fully-illustrated pattern makes it easy for even a beginner to create a beautiful skirt that will gather compliments. Although this pattern is great for the beginner, with VERY detailed instructions and lot of pictures, a shorter "Quick Print" version of the instructions is included for the more intermediate or advanced seamstress.
~ Have a hard-to-fit child? Included is a special section on how to customize the fit for your child.
~ Stuck on something? Contact information is included, and I am always more than happy to help you out.
You will receive:
~ A PDF containing an illustrated sewing course on how to create a ruffle skirt. The instructions are loaded with tips to ensure success.
~ Measurement chart to aid you in choosing the right size for your child.
~ The pattern sheets contain full-sized, computer-rendered pattern pieces. Each size is grouped together...no confusion following multiple lines! Just print, assemble, and start creating!

I have been sewing ever since I can remember. I started by making capes for my brother's and my Star Wars action figures. They were nothing more than a square of fabric with a bit of elastic crudely hand-stitched on, but they instilled the sense of pride and accomplishment that comes from creating something that is still with me today.
I eventually moved on to more human-sized clothes.
I believe that kids' clothes should be unique, comfortable, and beautiful at the same time. And every piece should bring back that old feeling of accomplishment -- of creating something beautiful with your own two hands.
