Basic Skills Necessary:

  • sew curved seams
  • work with fabrics cut on the bias
  • apply lingerie elastic

Pattern Description:

The Bambi Soft Bra is a vintage look bra featuring a three piece cup which can be easily altered to fit a multitude of cup sizes. It can be sewn in a variety of fabrics, from pretty floral cottons, to casual jersey. If sewing the bra in stretch knit, you may need to size down. Remember to always sew a test garment before using any pattern.

This pattern is a digitized version of Ohhh Lulu's hand drafted pattern. You will receive 1 digital file, containing instructions with images, and the multi-size pattern.

Suggested Fabrics:
Quilting cotton, satin, sateen, lace.
Can be sewn in stretch jersey or lace. Please note you may need to size down if sewing in stretch knits.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • XS 34-35" Bust
  • Small 36-37" Bust
  • Medium 38-39" Bust
  • Large 40-41" Bust
  • B-C Cup. Cup size can be adjusted by altering the curved seams of the upper and lower cup

  • thread
  • twin needle
  • 1/2 yard fashion fabric
  • 1/4 yard cotton jersey for lining
  • 1/4 yard lace or contrast for upper cup (optional)
  • 1.2 yards plush band elastic 1/2"
  • 1.2 yards lingerie elastic
  • 1.5 yards strap elastic
  • 2 strap sliders
  • 2 strap rings
  • 1 purchased bra back closure 1 1/2" wide
  • Ribbon, Rosettes, Bows for establishments (optional)
