Willow & Co. was born out of a dream to create complete seasonal children’s clothing pattern collections. Our debut collection was created by eight designers - seven of whom created patterns – Laura, Celina, Hayley, Elisa, Olga, Vanessa and Rebecca. Each pattern was intensively tested and overseen by our eighth team member, Mie, who has had years of training as a professional seamstress. Another friend, Suz, was also part of the process by quietly supporting the group along the way and is looking forward to taking part in the next collection. We work collaboratively, knowing that by combining our experience and expertise, we can achieve something truly special and unique. Our team collectively contributed to the decision making processes from the seed of an idea to the completion of our first collection. As we shared our ideas, discussed our vision, patiently listened, pushed each other creatively, drafted and re-drafted, we grew individually and collectively. In the process, something magical evolved – our first collection: Wanderlust!
Our mission is to serve our customers with the ultimate children’s pattern shopping experience. By creating a product of excellent quality, our hope is that you enjoy working with the patterns and reach complete satisfaction with the final product. To assure quality, pattern standards were developed and followed. Our patterns were each thoroughly tested by outside testers, as well as in-house. All the patterns were designed to work together and can be easily mixed and matched.

My inspiration for the name of the pattern came from my childhood memories in Ukraine where Mulberry trees are ubiquitous. As a child, I loved climbing a big tree in my grandma's backyard, snacking on sweet and juicy mulberries.
Young explorers will be thrilled with the Mulberry tunic. Designed with an active child in mind, it is equally appropriate on a camping adventure as exploring the sights of the big city. It features a front button placket and two sleeve lengths, with chest and inseam pockets. Options include a hood and button tabs on the sleeves. The design of the tunic is perfect for color blocking. This is an intermediate / confident beginner pattern. The Mulberry Tunic pattern is available in sizes 18mo, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 years. The PDF tutorial includes: Computer generated, tiled pattern that can be printed on 8.5? x 11? printer paper A detailed, step-by-step, picture tutorial Fabric requirements Materials list A glossary of sewing terms Lots of tips to help along the way.
