Harem pants are wonderfully cute and comfortable. They can be made using any stretch fabric. Cotton jersey, fleece, minky or velour make excellent choices, with cotton/elastane ribbing being the best for the waist and leg cuffs. An overlocker will give you a neater finish, but a regular sewing machine will work just fine, and I include instructions for both. The pattern is for long pants, but once you get the hang of it they can easily be adapted to make shorts!
This is a very easy pattern to use, the only slightly tricky part if you are a complete beginner, is sewing with stretch fabrics. But don't worry, I give you lots of hints and tips.
