With sizes from 12 months through 5t. This is a great way to use up your scrap stash and mix and match fabrics. I usually make this skirt from cotton prints, but it also is adorable from satins and taffeta for special occasions. This is by far my favorite skirt pattern. It is based on a vintage skirt I picked up at a thrift store. I love the double-layer with the ruffled underskirt. I also love the mix of fabrics. I made the sample with Doctor Seuss prints for a preschool field trip but I have also made it with floral prints for photo shoots and fancy fabrics for Christmas or Thanksgiving.

We started crafting as small children. Our mother is an amazing artist and crafter. She always encouraged us to use our imaginations, to make things for ourselves, and to try every medium out there.
