Our Lexi pattern can be made as a dress or a peplum top. Both versions feature cuffed sleeves and an adorable peek-a-boo opening in the back for added flair. The dress version features a contrast hem band with lettuce edge rolled hem. Designed to be sewn with knits, the Lexi Dress and Peplum Top is both comfortable and stylish.
Never sewn with knits before? No worries! Sewing with knits is easy and fun with this step-by-step guide which includes lots of tips, photos and diagrams to guide you along. Try using Patty's line of knit fabrics, designed for Michael Miller Fabrics.
SUGGESTED FABRICS: use stretch knits only: cotton interlock, jerseys, matte jerseys, lightweight double knits, stretch velvets 58"/60" wide. We used a selection of jerseys and interlocks by Patty Young for Michael Miller Fabrics.
This pattern comes in sizes 2T (toddler) to 12 (girls/tweens). See the last photo for fabric requirements and sizing charts.
