Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Experience with the following skills is recommended: buttonholes, collars (instructions inclued), attaching sleeves to a bodice, familiarity with common sewing terms and directions.

Pattern Description:

The Jack & Jill 40s inspired color block shirt is a little bit vintage and a lot of modern style. This unisex pattern features collar, sleeve, and color blocking options to make this relaxed fit, button down shirt the perfect versatile piece for your child's wardrobe. ***Great for layering

This pattern was created for movement! Nothing restricting about this one. As a mom, I'm no stranger to growth spurts and "in between" sizes. Have you ever made something, and a month later it no longer fit? Frustrating, right? Well, no worries, we've got you covered. You should be able to get at least a season or two (hopefully!) out of this design.

I'm a practical mom that just happens to love great design. I create patterns that are practical (lots of options), yet modern and stylish for growing kids (sizes 4-14) developing their own sense of style.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This pattern comes in sizes 4-12 kids

  • Fabric: 1.5 - 2.5 yards (depending on size), fusible interfacing, 1/2" buttons, straight pins, measuring tap/ruler, tailor's chalk (temporary marking tool)
