Pocket, pockets and more pockets--The Inside or Out Pocket Pants has them all! Choose to put your main pockets on the inside or the outside. Add a couple of back pockets and a cargo pocket or two, and your little one will be ready for a day of pocket-filling fun!
This Fishsticks Designs pattern offers a whole list of pants options including both long pants and shorts. Recommended fabrics are cotton quilting fabrics, bottomweights, lightweight denim, corduroy, sweatshirt fleece, french terry and medium- to heavy-weight interlock.
Sized to fit from 5 to 12, the flat front and elasticized waist make these pants stylish and easy to pull on and off.

I'm blessed to be mom to six children, two girls and four boys. Because my youngest three are boys and they're the ones I sew for the most, I tend to focus my designing on patterns that work great for boys. I also enjoy creating patterns with an incredible amount of versatility so that you can become comfortable with a pattern and go back to it again and again without your end products looking exactly the same. I want you to be able to build a whole wardrobe for your child from just a few patterns.
I begin each pattern with a hand-drawn design and work to get the fit just right for my little ones. Then I transfer my hand-drawn design the computer and create a digital design which is then graded up and down to each of the sizes included with the pattern. Once the pattern is ready, I call on my skilled testers to test out the pattern, instructions and sizing.
My end goal is to give you a great-fitting, easy-to-follow pattern each time!
