As a kid I want to do everything by myself....and I still live like this, except, now I want to play also with others and I love to show and teach how to play with fabric, so I did start to work on sewing step by step tutorials with my own patterns.
Will you play with me? Come, the fun is starting...
My new thing are my VIDEO CLASSES, a lot of them is about sewing. You could found me here https://www.skillshare.com/lidijamiklavcic and you could join me and play along.
Have a nice creative day.
Do your kids love hoody(tm)s? What do you think about idea of hoody pants or hoody-skirt-pants? Isn(tm)t that great! I like it, my kid love it and we did sew a lot of them.
This is an easy to follow photo tutorial for pants with hoody and skirt all in one. You could also make the ordinary pants or pants with skirt without the hoody. But the idea of having pants with hoody is fabso I think you will sew a lot of pairs yourself and why not?
The pattern is made for a few kids(tm) sizes (62-68-74-80-86-92), so you will be able to made more then just one for your kid.
For easy understanding all pattern parts are computerized with Photo Instructions that are step-by-step and easy to follow with more then 30 photos.
Pattern is suitable for beginner sewer.
If you like those pants with hoody, maybe you will also love my design of hoody dress? Do you ask me what is it with me and all the hoody(tm)s in my life? I need to admit I love them, really, and I sew them almost on all kids(tm) cloths, because they are fun, and super practical if you forget hat at home and the wind surprise you. But with the hoody my kid also like to have big pockets on the front so she could easily see her toys she have inside, practical.
Jap, kids(tm) cloths should be comfy, and colorful, with crazy good patterns and super easy to sew for her mom...the best design ever. :)
PS. If you like the hand printed look you could learn how to do this on my Bludor Magazine
were I explain haw to recycle the old fabric with handmade foam stampsjep, it is so easy that you could do this part with your kid. Enjoy.
