Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should already know how to use a sewing machine and some basic hand stitching.

Pattern Description:

Make your own super cute skirt for your little girl with this digital pdf sewing pattern!

This knee-length skirt has a dropped waist and a circle-shaped skirt for maximum twirl.

This skirt comes with three sweet and simple options:
~ a little band with bow
~ a knotted waist piece
~ tied sashes

Sizes included are: Child sizes 2 to 10 and 18" doll.

This pattern has been tested on plus-size girls as well as average-size girls and will fit both well. The waist is fitted using an elastic and therefore, this can be adjusted according to your particular needs. Isn't it wonderful how individual we all are?!

Please see the listing photos for the size chart and the materials chart.

This pattern and tutorial includes:

~ step-by-step instructions on how to make this skirt with clear, coloured photos
~ computer drafted, full-sized, nested pattern pieces

Seam finishes are included in this tutorial - and not just boring old zig-zag stitches - and no serger or fancy feet required! The inside will be just as pretty as the outside... well, almost. ;)

The pattern pieces can be printed on letter or A-4 sized paper.

This pattern is best suited for an advanced beginner or a confident beginner.
