This little summer under dress I made for wearing under Sophie's openwork crochet dresses, skirts and tops. With her white skin the images often looked better with something under the garments. It's cute and easy to wear, also as a light summer dress. A lot of people have asked me about the pattern, so if you like this super-simple dress, I have made a tutorial for you to copy! It works with any kind of dress shape, you need only large enough neck opening for the head, as there are no buttons! The dress and the pattern instruction is made in the most simple way, for anyone with a sewing machine to make! Work the dress shorter or longer as you please. Contact me if you have difficulties to understand my instructions! Enjoy!

As you probably have guessed, Sophie is my manikin, my dress doll! She is about 3 years old, and has become indispensable in my work with crochet patterns, as there is not a toddler in sight in my neighborhood! She is a perfect child, always available, never cries and don't have to be fed! My husband worries now and then, catching me in talking to her!
I'm Norwegian, living outside Rome for the last years with my Italian husband, and I love it! After a long working life I finally I have time and peace in my mind to craft, create, experiment and design.
I grew up in a small village where my parents by need daily used their skills in all kind of crafts. My mother taught me how to sew, knit and crochet, among other housely things. My father taught me how to fish, climb a mountain, and set tiles, do carpentry, paint and anything else you need to know about building a house.
My education made me a fashion designer, but but I have always worked with interior.
Now I create quality crochet, knitting and other patterns, childrens clothing, jewelry, buttons and paper craft.
