Pattern Description:
This pattern teaches you how to make a stylish convertible dress in just fifteen minutes. Really. It requires only four seams, and looks deceptively simple before you put it on; the success of the dress lies in the way you wrap the ribbon around your body. This project is easy enough for almost anyone to do - all you need to know is how to sew in a straight line.
It can be worn to fancy occasions or as an everyday dress, depending on the type of fabric that you use and the way you wear it.... the sky's the limit!
This tutorial is set up so that you will use your own measurements as the basis for the dress. That way, the tutorial can be used for any size. This tutorial does not include actual pattern pieces; instead, a diagram will be scaled up according to your specific measurements.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Size can be custom made for your measurements!
Materials:
- 1.5 yards of fabric
- matching thread
- 14 feet of contrasting ribbon or elastic
- tape measure
- safety pin
- scissors
- sewing machine
