I'm a married, mother of two living in the southwestern part of Vermont. Our family happens to be the proud owners of three poodles, two standards and one miniature. By day, I work as a librarian at one of the local elementary schools. By night, I dream of writing children's books in the eternal summer vacation.
I learned to sew in a ninth grade elective since my mother refused to teach us because that leads to nothing but mother-daughter fights. She claimed her mother said the same so she and her sister learned in 4-H on treadle sewing machines. They exhibited their fashionable creations at the county fair. My mother's junior prom dress even won a ribbon giving her a chance to go to the Massachusetts State Dress Review. I guess my grandmother might have been on to something.
Downloadable e-pattern (PDF) to create 3 different tops (mini, tank & tunic). The mini and tank can be made in less than an hour each and look great paired with shorts. The tunic can be made in about 2 hours and looks terrific worn with a pair of leggings. Some basic sewing knowledge is needed. E-pattern includes: detailed step-by-step directions with many illustrations, measurement charts, fabric and supply list and full-color photo example.
