Pattern Description:

Score big with a button-up Bowling Shirt! With classic styling and a bit of retro-flair, this shirt is perfect for boys and girls alike. The shirt can be made from a single fabric for a "camp shirt" look, or can be pieced from multiple fabrics for a striped effect. The placket, collar, and sleeves can be made from contrasting fabrics as well, giving unlimited mixing and matching possibilities. The front and back of the shirt are great for personalization with applique or machine embroidery.

The shirt is designed for ease of construction. Although it looks like a store-bought shirt, it is put together very differently. The placket is assembled separately from the rest of the shirt, and is attached after the buttonholes are made. This eliminates any worry about "botching the buttonholes" at the end. Each step of the construction process is described in detail and fully illustrated. As in the other volumes of the SewBoutique4Dolly & Me series, this eBook is loaded with tips, tricks, and of course, matching patterns for dollies.
