Pattern Description:
My friend Paige often plays dress up for me so I can take photos of my dresses on a model.
Her birthday was approaching and I asked if she would like me to make her a dress and she said that she would love a rainbow dress.
There were several versions of the rainbow dress made before I settled on this design that I just love.
The shirred bodice means the sizing is really flexible so that the dress can be worn for many years of twirling.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- SMALL (1-5 years)
- MEDIUM (4-8 years)
Materials:
- This dress takes 1.5-2yds of fabric depending on the size you are making
You Will Also Need:
- An overlocker/serger is HIGHLY recommended, but not essential
- Shirring elastic
- Co-ordinating thread
