Adorable end product not as easy as you think April 6, 2013

I loved these when I saw the pattern. I must say it was not as easy as I thought it would be. While it is not to difficult it is finicky to sew the heel with pins. Try tacking the whole shoe before you sew. Also make sure you line up the flaps on both shoes or the shoes will not look like a pair. I am a beginner and I have been sewing for three months. I did not find it to hard.

This was one of the easiest sewing projects ever. And they turned out ADORABLE. Not perfect, but I gave them as a baby shower gift and I think they were a hit. I hope to make many more of these as gifts. Maybe I will try to make a giant pair for myself out of fleece??
