I learned to sew in the 8th grade. As I got older I collected fabric but could never find the time or energy to sew. Between a full time job, single parent of two boys, one of which has Asperger's (Autism) and the rest of life we MUST attend to, I just learned to find pleasure in the idea of being able to make all these grand ideas floating in my head. I learned to knit & crochet (via the internet) because I wanted to add special details to my sewn items and that was something I could do on the metro train ride to and from work.
I then got laid off from my IT support job in 2011 and decided to keep busy while I looked for a new job. This gave me the time and energy to not just be with my sons but my fabric, too!
So here I am, now. I like to make things from store bought patterns but I find that I tend to mix and match and change them. I decided to try my hand a creating patterns. I hope you like them.
You MUST have the latest Acrobat Reader XI or better to use this file as intended. The file will open and the calculations work in some older versions (v7 and up) of Acrobat Reader except some of the buttons in the file will not work as intended as far as I can tell. Acrobat reader is free from Adobe.com
