  • Also be familiar with using a protractor, but only during the use of panels.

Pattern Description:

You MUST have the latest (Acrobat Reader XI or better) to use this file as intended. The file will open and the calculations work in some older versions (v7 and up) of Acrobat Reader except some of the buttons in the file will not work as intended as far as I can tell. Acrobat reader is free from Adobe.com

This is a draft-at-home circle skirt pattern calculator with instructions for drawing the pattern and basic assembly. More importantly this PDF form contains lots of mathematical information that YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEE, SINCE THE MATH IS DONE FOR YOU! Check out the VIDEO...https://www.youtube.com/user/BigGurlCloz/videos

Why pay when you can find free tutorials and other calcs on the Internet?

~Once downloaded it is accessible OFFLINE.
~All the calculations are done for you in this file.
~This file includes seam allowance.
~This file allows you to create panels.
~You can configure a fitted waistband with or without overlap for buttons or hooks, elastic waistband and extended ties.
~You get four different flare styles with this file; Full Circle Skirt, Three Quarters Skirt, Half Circle Skirt, and Quarter Circle Skirt also known as an A-line Skirt.
~You also get a full circle skirt pattern adjustment calculator to use on mass produced full circle skirt patterns.

That's right! Create a circle skirt pattern for dolls, toddlers, girls and up to plus size adults. You can use inches or centimeters, you can add and customize positive or negative ease, hems and both horizontal and vertical seam allowances and you can use it for life (as long as you have a backup), for any size or length circle skirt. Also included are waistband and fabric calculations.

I have tested this file and the math the best I am able. If you have a question or need help with this file, email me. The email address is included in the file. You can also use the comment form on the blog. I already have some ideas for extras to be published later, so let me know if you have any, too!
