These easy instructions are great for those with at least basic sewing skills. Pattern pieces for size 7/8, 10/12, and 14/16 are included - you can print them from any home printer. Cut the bow and ruffle fabric from measurements - easy rectangles. Featuring three styles - regular hem, bubble top, or side tail - and beautiful ruffles all tied at the shoulder with a pretty bow, this top is simple and quick to make.
Here are some measurements to determine your child's size:
Size 7/8: 10 1/2" from armpit to hem (regular straight hem option) and 15 1/2" across
10/12: 11 1/2" from armpit to hem and 16 1/2" across
14/16: 12" from armit to hem and 17 1/2" across
Sizes 18m to 6 are also available separately.
Materials needed:
1 yard focus fabric - cotton, calico, lightweight corduroy or denim
1/2 yard ruffle fabric
elastic thread (ONLY if making bubble top option)
erasable marker or pencil
coordinating thread
