MariaDenmark 302 - The Laura Lounge Trousers

These super cute and comfortable lounge trousers started their life when I was dared on Twitter to make a lounge wear set. I had already an idea in my head - and the dare made me draft the pattern properly.

Changes have been made since the original and I also added a jersey waistband option - because it can sometimes be hard to find ribbing in the right colours. You can even use a remnant from making your Birgitte Basic Tee to create a matching set!

The Laura Lounge Trousers are comfortable enough to do yoga or sleep in, but stylish enough that you won't be ashamed to answer the door while wearing them.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

This pattern is a multisized pattern with all sizes from XS (hip = 92 cm (36")) to XXL (hip = 122 cm (48")) included!

Materials:

This pattern is designed for medium to heavy weight knit fabric, such as knit velour, sweatshirt fabric or a heavy weight jersey or double knit. The ones pictured in this pattern was made using cotton knit velour. You(tm)ll need 105 cm (1.25 yard) fabric (150 cm (59) wide) for size XS " M and 210 cm (2.3 yard) fabric (150 cm (59) wide) for sizes L " XXL. (Or you can make two pairs " one of the smaller sizes and one of the larger sizes from 210 cm of fabric!)
For the waistband you(tm)ll need ribbing fabric or stretch jersey which is jersey containing elastane (often called spandex or lycra). You(tm)ll need 20 cm (8) (at least 100 cm (39) wide).

You Will Also Need:

For version with ribbing waistband 65 - 90 cm of 5 cm wide elastic.
For version with smocked waistband elastic thread.
