This is a digital print-at-home pattern for a French sewing pattern from a 1957 magazine supplement. The sleeveless blouse features several beautiful draping and gathering details with a very simple back and is made from only 4 pattern pieces.
The pattern is given in a size Medium/ Large:37" Bust, 30" waist.
The pattern requires about 1 /12 yards of 55" fabric (original from meter-age given) and would be ideal for silk jersey, cotton bamboo blends and lovely draping charmeuse.
The pattern and instructions are in English, including a copy of the original French.
The pattern prints as a 9 page pattern sheet with full sized pattern pieces laid out over each other (Much like a Burda pattern sheet). Each pattern piece can then be individually traced from the master sheet. (Or, if you prefer, you can just print the pattern sheet several times and cut out the pieces).
Difficulty level: Intermediate.
Pages are formatted for both US Letter and A4 paper.
Please note: This pattern is based off of a real 1950's pattern that is in the public domain. However, the pattern and its instructions have been adapted and translated for the 21st century seamstress creating a new and original work.

I grew up in an antique shop surrounded by lovely vintage clothing and I guess vintage just stuck. Recently I took my passion for sewing and vintage lingerie and combined them into a vintage inspired pattern line offering hard to find pattern styles in digital form.
Please Note: There are no returns on digital patterns so please read the item description carefully before purchase.
