Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic serger sewing
  • or. basic zig zag sewing

Pattern Description:

This is a package of 2 Patterns for the prize of one. It is step by step photo instructions with all the sewing information you need. The most important it is a project for play for you when you will sew it and for your kid too.
If you like to use serger as I do, then this is perfect project for recycle all small scraps that you have.
Don(tm)t worry if you don(tm)t have serger, the dress could be sewn with zig zag on ordinary mashie too. Also you could get different effect if your seams are not visible but are hidden inside of the dress. I really like to play with sewing and turned edges are fun to have and dress have now more feeling of a third dimension and it look almost like a origami in fabric.
This project is super fun and super easy (for beginners too).

I did use cotton knitted fabric, but jersey for summer version is good to. The seams are visible, so it is like a drawing on a fabric with contrasted thread. So super fun and easy new skirt for my girl.
