Pattern Description:
This has two zippered sections that sandwich a middle compartment that has handy, snug, open pockets for glasses, pens and cell phone. They don't fall out when my purse takes a tumble, but they are right there, easily gotten with one hand. Those zipped sections carry the stuff I want more secure. The finished dimensions are approximately 6.5" high by 15" wide. The photos are of 2 purses made from the pattern.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 6.5" high by 15" wide
Materials:
- 1/2 yard of 50" wide outer fabric (with no nap)
- 3/4 yard of 44" wide lining fabric
You Will Also Need:
- 1/2 yard of 44" wide iron-on heavy interfacing (like Dcor or Craft Bond)
- Two 14" zippers
- 8 buttons - size according to preference (see photo for placement)

In addition to my sewing patterns, I have designed unconventional lamps, window coverings, table accessories and wall hangings. My inspiration comes from pretty much everything around me.
I left the corporate world in 2001. Although I have been creative in varying degrees ever since I can remember, now I get to be creative full time - a total dream come true. I live with my husband, a woodworker, and 2 dogs in beautiful, rural Chatham County, North Carolina.
