Pattern Description:

The Rosie patchwork bag was designed to show off a selection of fab prints for when you don't want to use just one fabric!

The pattern comes with instructions for a slip pocket, and an optional zipped interior pocket.

The finished bag measures approximately 12 1/2" x 13" (32cm x 34cm) and features mitred corners, a cute patchwork panel and a magnetic clasp closure.

The pattern has been extensively tested with in depth instructions and clear diagrams for the tricky bits!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 12.5" x 13" (32cm x 34cm)


  • 30 x cotton patchwork squares 4" (10cm) or one fat quarter - Quilting cottons, lawn, shirting or poplin (pre-shrink before cutting)
  • 5/8yd (1/2m) woven top - Linen, drill, twill, duck, canvas, chino or other heavy woven fabric
  • 5/8yd (1/2m) lining - Quilting cotton, polycotton or lightweight woven fabric
  • 5/8yd (1/2m) fusible fleece, batting or bulky stabiliser

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 x Magnetic clasp
  • Optional zipped pocket 1 x 6" Zip 2 x 8"x6" lightweight interfacing
