Searching for the perfect diaper bag for mama and baby? Having a bag that is fun, fashionable and functional for both you and your new addition makes life so much easier in those first few years!
The outside front of the Mama & Baby Bag features two elasticized pockets and two flat pockets for those things that you need close at hand. On the back side, you'll find a large zippered pocket to keep important documents and records safely contained. Just below the strap, a side pocket holds mom's cell phone within quick reach. The tie-on strap easily adjusts to exactly the right length, from shoulder bag length, to stroller bag, to messenger bag. The strap is designed to be worn folded in half over the shoulder or unfolded for comfortable wear when worn across the body.
Inside, a divider separates mom's things from baby's. Mom's side features a divided pocket with compartments for a pen or pencil, business cards and notes. On baby's side, you'll find three elasticized pockets to separate diapers, wipes and changing pad.
Perfectly-sized for moms who use cloth diapers or disposables - not too big, not too small - the finished dimensions of this bag are 16" x 13" x 4".
Patterns and instructions are also included for a changing pad with hidden waterproof layer and a zippered wet bag.

Fishsticks Designs offers sewing patterns for unique and modern clothing that is always practical for you and your family. Fishsticks Designs was born from my desire to not only sew clothing for my own children but also to teach other moms (and grandmas, and aunts, and maybe even a few dads) to do the same. Each of my patterns includes step-by-step instructions with words and pictures so that you can read and see what to do next. It's almost like sitting in my sewing room with me. It's at least the closest that I can get without you stopping by for a visit.
I'm blessed to be mom to six children, two girls and four boys. Because my youngest three are boys and they're the ones I sew for the most, I tend to focus my designing on patterns that work great for boys. I also enjoy creating patterns with an incredible amount of versatility so that you can become comfortable with a pattern and go back to it again and again without your end products looking exactly the same. I want you to be able to build a whole wardrobe for your child from just a few patterns.
I begin each pattern with a hand-drawn design and work to get the fit just right for my little ones. Then I transfer my hand-drawn design the computer and create a digital design which is then graded up and down to each of the sizes included with the pattern. Once the pattern is ready, I call on my skilled testers to test out the pattern, instructions and sizing.
My end goal is to give you a great-fitting, easy-to-follow pattern each time!
