The Lizzy bag sewing pattern is a simple, yet stunning bag that uses less than one yard of fabric. It is similar to our popular Jane bag, but does not require any quilting knowledge. Sized large enough to carry a few balls of yarn, sewing supplies, or other craft items, yet small enough for use as an everyday purse, it is a great addition to any wardrobe. It measures approximately 11" tall, 12" wide, 4 1/2" deep, and has a 12" drop for the strap.
It contains large inside pockets and a convenient cell phone pocket as well. It has one shoulder strap and a covered button closure and features a stylish pleat.
The pattern also features a smaller, crossbody style bag, ash shown in photo two.
Fabric shown for larger bag is Verna by Kate Spain for Moda.
Fabric shown for crossbody bag is Katie Jump Rope by Denyse Schmidt for Freespirit.
