Pattern Description:
This chic & glamorous tote is just waiting to be packed and taken to exotic locations, a picnic, or around town. Easy-to-understand illustrations will help you complete this great 16" square tote!
This pattern was a collaboration between Schlosser Designs and Iza Pearl Design and was based off of a picture of Melissa's (Iza Pearl Design) mother!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 16" x 16" x 5"
Materials:
- 1 Yard Main Fabric
- 1 Yard Accent Fabric (Or 2/3 yard non-directional print)
- 1 Yard Lining Fabric
- 1/2 yard fusible fleece or two 17" squares batting
- 1 yard heavyweight canvas or duck cloth
- 2 Coordinating Fat Quarters (Or 1/3 yard each) for shirt and scarf
- Fabric Scraps for face, hair, sunglasses, lips. Approx 8" square
- 1 Yard Fusible fabric adhesive (Steam A Seam, Heat 'n Bond Lite, etc.)
You Will Also Need:
- (4) 1 1/2" round rings
- several coordinating thread colors for general sewing & applique
- Foam Core for bag base
- Safety Pins
