I would like to increase the pattern to fit a square lunch box. How should I increase the %?

This pattern comes as a tilable sheet so you can increase it before printing, by selecting the scaling percentage in the print options. If you measure your much box, or the size you want the bag to be, then compare the finished size of the standard bag. Divide the larger number of your bag by the usual finished size and this gives you the percentage increase. For example, this bag at 100% is approx 4.5 inches wide. If you wanted it to be 6 inches wide, 6 divided by 4.5 = 1.33 so you would print or scale at 133%. I hope this helps.

I love this pattern. My grandson was born with a heart defect and takes lots of meds.,so I made this bag to carry all of his medications in. I added some elastic to the lining to hold his bottles. He loves it ,too. Thank you!!

You can increase the pattern pieces by a percentage and it will still work out the same but bigger. Increase the length by 30%, increase the width by 30%, increase the height by 30% for example. But you should increase all measurements by the same ratio. Hope this helps.

I am making this one at the moment and its such a clever idea. The pattern works ever so well and is also very simple.
