I have been fascinated with quilting since I was a little girl sleeping under a Dutch girl quilt my grandmother made. Now that I?m a grandmother myself, I market my original and whimsical designs under the B. Bumble & Co. name. Most of my patterns are designed for a simple freezer paper applique technique, but will work with any method. They are not complicated and most are easy enough for beginners.
I have a blog at http://buzzingandbumbling.blogspot.com/ where you can keep up with my tutorials, tips, and other postings.
This adorable little bag is perfect for young or old! It is trimmed with loops of ribbon that add texture as well as color. It is the perfect size for carrying those few important items and without the button is perfect for a book or Bible. It would also make a really precious lunch bag!
You can very easily change the size without changing the way the bag is put together. This little bag can be made in an hour or so. You could make a whole set of them easily in a weekend and have them ready for gift giving!
Ribbons are on many of my projects. In fact, people often comment that they knew it was my pattern because of the ribbons! The ribbons are just the inexpensive type you find everywhere. They wash well and withstand a lot of wear!
