Pattern Description:

The Simple Satchel was conceived as the second class I started teaching at the that is aimed at novice sewers looking for instant gratification!

The Simple Satchel can be made in 3+ hours. Less once you've got the hang of it.

The project is also an economical one, as you can simply raid your current stash of fabric and whip one up on the spur of the moment. The hardware is completely optional, as a fixed length strap can be made out of fabric, even.

This bag has been a hit through and through, up to being written up in The Guardian, by Karen Ball author of the sewing blog "Did You Make That".

This is a feel good project that always makes people smile! Enjoy!
