Super fast and fun! Take a trip to the discount store and pick up some vinyl placemats, then, turn them into a versatile, strong and very cute tote bag!

Everyone will be amazed that you made it from a couple of abandoned vinyl placemats. Add your coordinating trim, some straps and WOW!...what a quick and easy gift!

My pattern is very easy to follow with pictures at each step.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 18" wide x 10" high


  • vinyl placemats
  • fabric
  • thread
  • snap closure
  • strapping
  • interfacing
  • Scissors or rotary cutter and mat
  • Exact amounts of fabric and strapping are listed in the PDF

You Will Also Need:

  • size 90 or 100 sewing machine needle
