Scallop Fabric Basket
This listing is for instructions to make this sweet pieced fabric basket. You can make it using several fabrics or a single fabric. Or make it plainer by omitting the scallop edge or rickrack. Lots of possibilities.
This basket has many uses. It's perfect for Easter for both a girl or boy with it's different options. It would be great to welcome a new baby or new Mom. It would be nice for a housewarming gift. Leave the handle off and use it as a display basket.
This basket measures 6" in diameter and is about 6" tall. It is pieced together and has decorative top stitching, scallop edge with rickrack and button trims. It is nicely padded.
Bow Tie Basket is also available.

I am a registered nurse, having worked in telemetry and ICU. I am looking to get into a different kind of nursing that isn't so stressful.
I love crafting of all kinds, I love making soap, I also am quite addicted to genealogy, having traced my family to the Mayflower. I love to read, my favorite type of books for reading are biographies and other non-fiction books, especially anything related to historical events.
I am a fabricholic, I can't get enough. And I love to sew and make up patterns of new stuff. I have been sewing and making craft items for a very long time. I have sold many items locally at craft shows, and have dabbled a little with online sales, but I would like to pick that up a notch.
My philosophies in life are honest, clean wholesome living, giving a fair day's work for a fair day's pay. I cannot pass by someone in need and believe that I will also be helped when I am in need.
I wish all of us peace and harmony, health and happiness.
