Yardage depends on how many fabrics you want to use to make your hat. To make hat with 2 fabrics (one of outside, one for lining), you will need 5/8 yd. (42-44" wide) of each plus 5/8 yd. of lightweight interfacing. Flowers can be made from fabric scraps or strips.

My background is in Graphic Design, but I have been sewing for over 50 years. When my kids were small, I designed & sewed clothes for them. Later, I also started making original clothes designs for my dogs. A few years ago, I decided to start turning those original designs into Digital PDF patterns that others could use and enjoy.
Now, I enjoy designing & sewing for my grandchildren and my two papillons, Jasper & Lily. I am continually dreaming up new designs, so new patterns are added to the shop frequently.
