I'm a mom of four who has a passion for making things in my spare time. Call me crazy, but if I didn't have this creative outlet I probably would be! I love collecting beautiful fabrics and using them to make bags, quilts, pillows and dresses for my girls.
Aside from publishing my own PDF sewing patterns, my designs have been included in several books, including the Pretty Little series by Lark Books and the Craft Hope book, also by Lark. I've also contributed to the Stitch publication by Interweave Press.

I love to make things, but I don't like to make complicated things. The search for simple, easy designs is what fuels me! The Phoebe Bag was one of my first such designs. At the time, I wanted a stylish, simple bag that I could make in one sitting - that was NOT a tote! That's how the Phoebe bag was born.
Previously offered only on my blog, I thought it was time to offer Phoebe here as well. This bag has by far been my most popular design. I hope you enjoy it!
If you're looking for a larger version, The Ruby Bag, is Phoebe's big sister.
The Phoebe Bag is for personal use. If you're a home sewist and would like to make and sell Phoebe Bags in your online shop or at craft fairs, purchasing the Ruby Bag gives you permission to do so.
