  • Sewing a straight line, using a rotary cutter, using interfacting

Pattern Description:

I got a box of quilt tops that my mom made, but never finished into quilts. Most were too small to be made into bed quilts, so I started making them into tote bags. I love being able to carry something my mom made with me all the time.

The Patchwork Tote Bag is a great way to give new life to those unfinished quilts in your closet.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished bag is approximately 16" L x 16" H x 7" W.

Materials:

  • 20" x 40" unfinished quilt; canvas, twill, or denim; interfacing, Timtex,

You Will Also Need:

  • thread, scissors, rotary cutter, safety pin, iron
